A billboard promoting WhereWhitePeopleMeet.com is causing controversy in West Valley City, Utah.
The advertisement had drivers turning their heads all week!
“I feel like it is a little bit racist,” one woman told KSTU-FOX 13 News.
The site claims to be open to all races, as long as you are at least 18 years of age.
“We want our dating forum to be simple and inexpensive with the ability to connect like minded people in a non discriminatory fashion,” said a description on the site’s “About Us” page.
The billboard and media frenzy appears to be working. The site was experiencing technical difficulties on Saturday.
Website users may be experiencing difficulty again today. Heavy traffic is overloading our server. We are working to resolve the issue.

The site has four levels of membership ranging from free enrollment to $69 for full access.
It joins a host of other dating services that cater to specific race, creeds, and religions — such as blackpeoplemeet.com, and christianmingle.com.
“I think it doesn’t matter what color skin you are, you can find love anywhere,” one woman added.
Have fun, white people.
